The major concern for the splitting is falls on Larger files. some users may feel difficulties to download larger files from the websites or mails when it takes long time to download. The solution for that situation is to split up the larger files into several parts, and can download it. Downloading Several parts simultaneously is faster than single larger files. There are number of softwares found in Internet for splitting up files like WinRAR, 7 zip, Peazip, Zipware, etc., In my case I am using 7 zip, which is freeware and provides powerful compression.
One of the concern to split files is first the file should be compressed, because if we split the normal file like mp3 or exe file atlast the file will be broken. The compressed file is one of the extreme powerful file which original datas properties cannot be modified when it is compressed file properties are changed.
To Split files using 7 Zip:
1. Select files to compress and split.
2.Right click files select 7zip ->Add to archive. Select Split volume as you want, and click ok.
3. Lets the compression completes the process.
4. After the compression complete, the files will looks like this.
To Combine files Using 7 Zip:
1. Open 7 zip manager.
2. Locate your files which are compressed into parts. Right click any one of the file and select combine files.
3. And the combined compressed file looks like below picture.
4. Right click the file and select 7 zip and extract Here to recover the original files.
